We saw it with Oris and their Caliber 400, and with YEMA and their GMT movement. There’s another one that almost slipped through the cracks, however, and it comes from the German brand Damasko. The inaugural movement of the A26 family was developed to create independence from Swiss manufacturers without a significant increase in price. Sounds like a win win to us. So, why the modesty? Let’s take a closer look.
The A26 will be offered as an option alongside ETA fitted watches, meaning they share dimensions as to fit within the same cases. These models, which include the DK30 and DK32, are still 39mm in diameter and under 10mm in case thickness, making the A26 all the more impressive a feat for the brand. Not only does the A26 share dimensions with the ETA 2824, all components that route power from the mainspring to the escapement are interchangeable. This may temper some of your excitement, but on the plus side, it means the movements will be easily serviceable by any competent watchmaker.

Οτι πλεονέκτημα έχει κανείς προμοτάρει.
Φυσικό είναι. Παντού ισχύει. Απλώς είναι θέμα, αν το πλεονέκτημα, έιναι τόσο σημαντικό ή απαραίτητο, ώστε κάποιος να προβεί σε αγορά.Και αυτό φυσικά ισχύει για όλα τα προϊόντα, από καφέ μέχρι διαστημόπλοιο, πολιτικούς, γιατρούς, κλπ.
Δεν αντιλέγω. Δεν ξέρω όμως αν αυτό, είναι από μόνο του ικανό να προσελκύσει έναντι άλλων.

Ιδιαίτερο ναι. Ομορφο ναί. Αλλά όλα τα στοιχεία που δίνει, για τεχνολογίες κάσας κλπ., περιττά για εμένα. Κανένα ρολόι, όντας στο χέρι του φέροντος, δεν πρόκειται να υποστεί καταπονήσεις που δεν αντέχει το χέρι.
Απλώς, το marketing, ρίχνει σάλτσα, "The ice-hardened stainless steel is extra scratch resistant, and uses Damasko’s patented process of infusing steel with nitrogen ", και όποιος θέλει , θα την γευτεί.
Σαν και εμένα, που τα έτριβα με άμμο, για να δείχνουν ότι πήγα Εβερεστ, Σαχάρα, στον βόρειο πόλο, κλπ.

Their new C51-6 automatic chronograph movement uses central minutes and seconds counters, with a twelve hour totalizer at 6:00. Additionally, there’s a running seconds at 9:00, and a 24 hour indicator at 3:00. These extra totalizers and registers are what set the new movement apart from the previous C51-1, which is found inside the DC80. The watch features a date window at 4:30 with quick-adjust capability.
The dial elements are largely in a crisp white against a matte black, and everything pops just as you’d hope. The Green variant features green accents on the dial and hands, and variants marked Black feature black “Damest” coated cases. Δεν συμφωνείς ότι έπρεπε το σάμπ να έχει 7 χιλιάρικα, όταν το άλλο έχει 3,5, Αφού το Damasko είναι πιο σκληρό πιο tool ρολόι .
Εγώ κατάλαβα ότι ΑΔΙΚΩΣ χρεώνει 7 το σαμπ, όταν το άλλο είναι πιο σκληρό, κλπ, κλπ.
Δεν τα λέω για να σε κρίνω. Λέω τι κατάλαβα, γιατί για τα σάμπ, ποιός να μου πεί εμένα ?
Από το 1975 και ύστερα, αυτά που τους έχω κάνει, μόνον το SEIKO τα έχει περάσει.

Το λες για να περάσει η ώρα, ή το εννοείς ?
Τι σχέση μπορεί να έχει ένα Sub, ( ξεχνάμε την φίρμα και εξετάζουμε ΜΟΝΟΝ τα τεχνικά τους στοιχεία ), με αυτό το ρολόι ?
Από υδατοστεγανότητα, ποιότητα κατασκευής, υλικά, χρονομετρία, και να μην πάμε στο πακέτο σέρβις / ανταλλακτικά, διάρκεια ζωής, και το κομάτι που σιχαίνομαι να αναφέρω, αλλά μετράει λιιιιιιιιιγο για μερικούς, μεταπωλητική αξία ?
Να κάνουμε το τέστ που κάναμε κάποτε. Σαν παλληκαράκια, που "τσακωνόμασταν" ποιός έχει το καλύτερο / ανθεκτικότερο. Η χρονομετρία τότε δεν μας ένοιζε, ήταν κόλλημα που ήρθε αργότερα.
Γεμίζαμε μια κανάτα με παγάκια και λίγο νερό, όταν βγαίναμε έξω, και τα ρίχναμε μέσα, για όση ώρα παραμέναμε στην ταβέρνα / κουτούκι / μπαράκια. ( Στο Balthazar στην Τσόχα, στο Memphis στην Βεντήρη, στα Βλάχικα στην Βάρη, καλοκαίριάτικα, είχαν αφήσει την τελευταία τους πνοή, πολλά ρολόγια
) Στις 1.30-2.30 ώρες, δεν ζούσανε πολλά. Επεφτε κλάαααααααααααααμα. Θα ήθελα να ξαναδώ ένα τέτοιο τέστ με αυτά που λένε ότι έιναι "πιο σκληρό πιο tool ρολόι".
