Porsche Design collaborated with Orfina, Eterna, and IWC to make some iconic chronographs in the 1980’s and early 1990’s. All of these were essentially based on the Heuer Pasadena case style. The stark functionality of the Pasadena and later Porsche Design watches evinced a new term, “tool watch.” This Eterna is an early version of the Porsche Design chronograph and bears a very strong resemblance to Sinn’s 144 model.
