Bremont latest limited edition pays tribute to the Battle of Britain
For the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, Bremont is releasing a limited edition set that contains special versions of the Spitfire and Hurricane timepieces. The BOB Spitfire (right) features a dial design inspired by the Smiths clocks that were used in the Spitfires flown in the Battle of Britain. The 43mm watches feature a black DLC case, an automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve, and a case back stamped with the profile of the Spitfire. The BOB Hurricane takes its design cues from the clocks in the aircraft and features a 40mm case, an automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve, and just like the Spitfire, a case back with the profile of a Hawker Hurricane.
Buyers of the set will have the opportunity to take flight in an actual Spitfire at Duxford in the UK and the watch case includes a commemorative disc that can be engraved with the date you took the flight.
