Panerai Launches Two Seafaring Limited Edition Watches for Fall
A blue Submersible and a black-and-red Luminor.
Italian luxury watchmaker Panerai is now releasing two new seafaring limited editions just in time to spice up your fall wardrobe.
The first of the two is a blue-toned Submersible Azzurro, limited to just 500 pieces made. A robust satin AISI 316L steel case measures in at 42mm, adorning a uni-directional rotating bezel with a clean blue ceramic insert and housing a classic black dial with a date window at 3 0’clock and small seconds at 9 o’clock. Boasting a water resistance of 300 meters, it also carries a power reserve of three days and comes with a black rubber strap paired with a brushed steel buckle.
The second offering is yet another collaboration with the famed sailing team Luna Rossa, bringing vibrant red accents to an otherwise stealthy Luminor. The gray shaded case is crafted from titanium with a matte sandblasted finish, also measuring in at 42mm in diameter. A futuristic Carbotech bezel then surrounds a patterned Scafotech dial featuring Arabic numerals at 12 and 6 o’clock, small seconds at 9 o’clock, a date window at 3 o’clock, and a third red-tipped GMT hand for a second timezone. Also equipped with a power reserve of three days, its water resistance comes in at 10 bar, with both a black alligator and rubber strap completing the set. Only 250 pieces will be made for this particular model.
The Panerai Submersible Azzurro will set you back $9,800 USD, while the Luminor Luna Rossa GMT will go for $10,800 USD. The former is now available for pre-order, while the latter will arrive in January 2021.
