Μη συζητάς … Απλά ο συγκεκριμένος είναι ένας εμμονικος που επειδή είχε φαει επαγγελματική πόρτα ,από όσο ξέρω ,από τη panerai έχει βάλει σκοπό της ζωής του να την ξεμπροστιάζει .Άδικο δεν έχει αλλά ο άνθρωπος κάνει τρομερή έρευνα ,μιλάμε πρέπει να ρίχνει ατέλειωτες ώρες ψάχνοντας που αυτό μου βγάζει κάτι αρρωστημένο από ένα σημείο και μετά .
Πάντως σίγουρα δεν είναι αυτό που αφήνεις να εννοηθεί πως έτσι αμερόληπτοι που τα λένε έξω από τα δόντια είναι όλοι οι ξένοι.

Panerai commemorates its association with the Luna Rossa sailing team with a special edition QuarantaQuatrro Submersible timepiece

Panerai has expanded its Submersible collection of technical divers’ watches by releasing a number of new references at the ongoing Watches & Wonders 2022 trade show. Dubbed “QuarantaQuattro”, there are a total of four new models sized at 44mm, which perfectly fill the gap between the 42mm and 47mm sizes. It completely makes sense as the 47mm case is slightly large for many customers while downsizing to 42mm might feel a little too small to them. This is what makes the new QuarantaQuattro very versatile. Out of the four new references, the one which we are more interested in is the beautiful Luna Rossa version.

The special edition watch commemorates Panerai’s role as the official sponsor of the Luna Rossa team in America’s Cup sailing race. The sport of sailing has been a part of the Italian brand’s DNA and it has been supporting the team since 2019. The partnership has previously spawned several special edition co-branded watches and the new QuarantaQuatrro Luna Rossa continues with that tradition. Although the commemorative timepiece is very similar to the Core steel models, it has been given a very elegant look thanks to its eye-catching dial finished in a deep metallic blue color with a sunburst pattern and the red second’s hand. The color combination is inspired by the official liver of the Luna Rossa team. A matching dark blue bi-material strap gets a red stripe in the middle with the Luna Rossa logo on it.

The 44mm case and the traditional 60-minute uni-directional bezel feature a brushed finish, while a matching rubberized blue crown sits inside the trademarked crown lock. Powering the watch is Panerai’s automatic P.900 caliber that beats at 4hz and offers a power reserve of 3 days. The Luna Rossa edition like the rest of the Submersible QuarantaQuattro models offers 300m of water resistance. The QuarantaQuatrro Luna Rossa will go on sale in June and only 1500 examples will be made carrying a price tag of $9,900.

Panerai Finds a Mid-Size with the Submersible Quaranta Quattro

So far, Panerai’s Submersible has been only available in the two cases sizes 47 and 42mm. At this year’s Watches & Wonders, a new case size that lies in-between has been added. As with most of Panerai’s references, it is expressed in name: Submersible Quaranta Quattro, which translates to 44mm.

Apart from the size, the latest iterations resemble their bigger and smaller siblings in all key features: The diver’s watch is water-resistant to 300 meters, boasts a unidirectional rotating bezel including markings for the first 15 minutes, and a genuine movement, here the automatic manufacture caliber P900 with a three-day power reserve.

As part of the debut, Panerai has released three different models. The Submersible Quaranta Quattro Carbotech Blu Abisso (PAM01232) arrives in a case made of Panerai’s patented material Carbotech, a composite based on carbon fiber, which is lightweight, scratch resistant and corrosion resistant. Finished with a dark blue rubber strap, the watch retails for $18,200.

The Submersible Quaranta Quattro with a black dial and black rubber strap and the Submersible Quaranta Quattro Bianco with a white dial and and green rubber strap are clad in stainless steel. Pricing for both of these editions is marked at $9,600.

Panerai Drops Power Boat-Inspired Submersible S BRABUS Blue Shadow Edition
The watch’s titanium case is fused from powder using lasers.

Panerai has dropped the second watch in its partnership with Brabus, the limited edition Submersible S BRABUS Blue Shadow Edition.

Launched at the 2022 Palma International Boat Show, along with Brabus’ new Shadow 900 Deep Blue luxury day boat, the watch combines aesthetic touches from both brands

The matte 47mm titanium cushion-shaped case is formed using Direct Metal Laser Sintering – a form of 3D printing – while the unidirectional bezel and crown protector lever are made of Panerai’s proprietary Carbotech composite.

Panerai has added muted blue Super-LumiNova to the hands, hour markers and 12 o’clock spot on the bezel as a highlight against the shades of titanium and carbon grey.

Inside is the new P.4001/S calibre, a skeletonized, GMT version of the Panerai’s P.4000 automatic movement, which uses a tungsten micro-rotor to wind its twin barrels, allowing for a 72-hour power reserve. The movement also features hacking seconds and a seconds reset mechanism, making synchronizing the watch with a reference time a simple operation.

Water resistant to 300m, the Submersible S BRABUS Blue Shadow Edition is limited to 200 pieces and available via Panerai, priced $49,200 GBP.
