These are available with exclusive new dials and with cases measuring 26, 31 and 34 millimetres, as well as in a new size of 39 millimetres. Rolex thus offers a full range of sizes and attractive dials for this legendary model, which directly traces its ancestry to the first watertight watch, i.e. the original »Oyster«, which debuted in 1926. Depending on the case’s size, the new models house either Calibre 3132 (39-millimetre case), Calibre 3130 (36- and 34-mm cases) or Calibre 2231 (31- and 26-mm cases). All three of these self-winding mechanical calibres were completely developed and manufactured by Rolex and each has earned a chronometer certificate from the COSC. In all of its various sizes, this classic is available with dials in new colours ranging from olive green to blue and from anthracite to a purple hue known as »Red grape«.
