Onyx discs are transformed into thin dials, as the thickness reduces ten-fold, from 4mm to 0.4mm. They then pass to the polishing workshop, to establish the perfect thickness and evenness. The dials are hand-cleaned and checked before the ultimate polishing, which achieves the 'mirror effect' sheen
