The case, in stainless steel, measures 43mm x 13.9mm. It has a convex AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 100 meters. Bi-directional bezel, with red pointer, numerals, and indeces. The caseback sapphire crystal is printed with a Curtiss inscription and an image of an airborne P-40 Warhawk, whose design, with its shark's mouth and color scheme, is based on the characteristic paint job associated with the plane when it was piloted by the American Volunteer Group in the Chinese Air Force's famed Flying Tigers unit.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Breitling in-house caliber 01 with 47 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 70 hours. It is COSC-certified as a chronometer.
