SZ01
The first chronograph to be developed by Sinn on the basis of the Valjoux 7750.
To improve its readability we redesigned the Valjoux 7750, under the name SZ01. The movement now has a jump-action minute counter from the center of the dial.
Schematic diagram showing chronograph functions of the SZ01. Our new design has two advantages in terms of readability: firstly, 60 instead of the usual 30 minutes are now counted in one rotation; secondly, the minute stopwatch scale is visible around the entire dial circumference.
The SZ01 has a similarly high degree of readability to the Lemania 5100, which is no longer in production. The military approval of the Lemania caliber was based primarily on this particular property. The movement also has a 24-hour display at 3 o’clock and a date display between 4 and 5 o’clock .
