NATO straps now change from status junk to OEM. Discover some of the 2014 watches officially fitted with NATO straps and the interesting story behind

I started to take of the original straps from my watches and to replace them by NATO straps some years ago. In the very beginning I bought them through the Australian website www.natostrap.com and today I buy them in Paris at “MisterChrono” located at 23, Rue Danielle Casanova near Place Vendôme or online at the shop´s website www.misterchrono.com.

There are six colour options for the straps made of polyamide, a textile made of synthetic fibres that offers good tensile strength as well as resistance to abrasion. These come either with five alternating stripes (black/red, black/orange or black/grey) or in black bordered by red, orange or grey. They feature polished stainless steel buckles and keepers.
